On Friday, multiple reports surfaced that the LSU football team would lose number one defensive tackle Quentin Thomas for the season with a biceps injury. But on LSU media day on Sunday, Les Miles said he hopes to have Thomas back soon.

LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette said Sunday, that Thomas' injury was not as bad as previously thought and that he has a chance to return this season.

A torn biceps typically takes 6 months of rehab before a payer can return from it.

LSU was already weak on the defensive line after losing Ego Ferguson and Anthony Johnson to the NFL draft.
