So the LSU Tigers haven't started the season the way they'd hoped. But Coach Paul Mainieri isn't ready to give up yet. The team has shown flashes of brilliance, but haven't been able to string together solid pitching starts this year.

In order to fix that, Mainieri is moving around his pitching rotation heading into this weekend. Including adding a freshman to the weekend rotation. Here's more from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"LSU baseball coach Paul Mainieri is making a change with his weekend rotation. He’s moving Todd Peterson out as the Sunday starter and replacing him with freshman right-hander AJ Labas, who has yet to pitch this season after undergoing back surgery in December.

The Tigers will play three different teams this weekend. On Friday night it’s Toledo, Saturday Sacred Heart and then the Tigers host Southeastern Louisiana on Sunday. The Lions beat LSU last night 5-4."
