The search for a domestic violence suspect on the Louisiana State University-Shreveport campus over for now, with the man still on the run.

Shreveport Police Corporal Breck Scott told KEEL News officers were asked by the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office to search a home on Sophia Lane for 22-year-old Antonio Bell, who is wanted on an arrest warrant.

Corp. Scott said police and a K-9 unit searched the area near LSU-Shreveport and Willis Knighton, but couldn't locate Bell. They decided to suspend the search.

LSUS Police sent out a mass text message informing students of the situation, but the campus didn't have to be placed on lockdown.
