It was just under a year ago when Troy came into Death Valley in Baton Rouge and knocked off the LSU Tigers 24-21.

It was an improbable win for the Sun Belt Conference member, knocking off an SEC powerhouse isn't a common occurrence for for these mid-major conference schools. Especially since most games like this take place at the home field of the larger university, like this one, which took place at Tiger Stadium.

Now this year's Tigers want to avoid that from happening again, when they welcome Louisiana Tech to Baton Rouge. LSU Linebacker Michael Divinity says he doesn’t want to ruin what has been a great start to the season.

LSU is know for its defensive standouts, but Louisiana Tech has a couple of NFL prospects on that side of ball. There's been high praise for Defensive End Jaylon Ferguson, and Cornerback Amik Robertson, who was a freshman All-American last season.
