The 12th ranked LSU Tigers will be back at full strength for their Saturday home opener against Sam Houston State with the return of four suspended players and an injured receiver.

Freshman receiver Malachi Dupre is expected back from an ankle and knee injury and four other players will have a one game suspension lifted.

Two of those players, sophomore cornerback Rashard Robinson and senior center Elliot Porter were projected as starters to begin the season but did not make the trip to Houston because of the disciplinary action imposed by Les Miles.

Valentine at Practice

LSU beat writer Glenn Gulbeau reports that freshman defensive tackle Trevonte Valentine is practicing with the team.  Valentine’s high school transcripts are still being reviewed by the SEC office.  Coach Les Miles said Valentine can not play until his transcripts have been approved.
