The LSU Tigers baseball team took advantage of good hitting conditions at Alex Box Stadium last night, with the wind blowing out, as the Bayou Bengals banged out four home runs in a 9-3 win over Tennessee.

Jake Slaughter hit two home runs, Hunter Feduccia and Beau Jordan also hit balls that left the yard. Austin Bain had four hits and drove in three runs. Zach Hess allowed one run over seven innings for the victory.

The Tigers host the Vols again tonight, after their game time was changed. Originally the first pitch for tonight was scheduled for just after 6pm, but due to the threat of severe weather today, that game will be pushed back. The new time for the first pitch is 8pm, meaning our pre game show on 1130 The Tiger will start at 7:30pm. There is still a possibly the weather will impact the game, even with the later start time.
