The LSU Tigers basketball squad, led by Johnny Jones, were left carving up turkeys on the road this Thanksgiving.

You can say LSU took the cake and blew out the St. Joseph's Hawks 82-65.

Andre Stringer led the way with 18 points. Freshman Jordan Mickey had another double-double in this game. Mickey scored 14 points and had 10 rebounds. Jarrell Martin was behind Stringer, he scored 15 points for the Tigers.

With Thursday's victory, LSU will play against the No. 21 ranked Memphis Tigers in Orlando on Friday evening.

The Tigers have won 13 of their last 16 non-conference games. The Tigers have also scored 80 plus points in each game this season. The last time LSU did that, the 1990-1991 SEC Championship season.
