It was the second day of spring workouts for the LSU football team Tuesday. Heavy rain in the Baton Rouge area forced the Tigers indoors for practice.

Just like Monday, the Tigers worked out in helmets only. Among those noticeably absent was #2 QB Anthony Jennings, who team officials said was out due to a mid-term exam.

Coach Les Miles biggest off-season move was to bring in Dave Aranda from Wisconsin to head up the defense. Aranda spent most of his time working with the inside linebacking corp.

The Tigers will hold four practices the first week and two in the second before taking off a week for Spring Break. Workouts resume March 29 with three-a-week workouts, culminating in the spring game on Saturday, April 16.
