LSU Softball Beats South Carolina, 13-5

Opening its three-game series against South Carolina with a bang, LSU's softball team toppled the South Carolina Gamecocks.

The game was actually a resumption of Friday's matchup, which was called early due to weather conditions. LSU and USC resumed the game Saturday, which the Tigers led 7-5.

The Tigers and The Gamecocks continue their three-game series today with game two, which is being broadcast on ESPNU.
