A state district judge has extended suspended LSU running back Jeremy Hill’s probation another two years and sentenced him to 40 hours community service following his guilty plea to misdemeanor battery after he was caught on video punching a man outside a Baton Rouge bar last spring.

Now it’s up to Les Miles on whether the Tigers leading rusher a year ago can rejoin the team.

The judge also granted Hill some flexibility on his imposed curfew that would allow him out at night for football games and travel.

Miles had said he wouldn’t address Hill’s reinstatement until his legal status was clear.
