LSU ace Kevin Gausman was drafted number 4 overall by the Baltimore Orioles in the first round of the MLB's amateur draft on Monday.

Gausman had a stellar sophomore season (11-1, 2.72 ERA) in which he was chosen first team ALL-SEC and is a semi-finalist for the coveted Golden Spikes Award.  The award honors the nation's top amateur baseball player.  Gausman is a semi-finalist along with his teammate Raph Rhymes.

An LSU baseball player has been taken in the first round of the MLB amateur draft four straight years.

LSU has moved on in the NCCA tournament to Super Regional play which can be heard on AM 1130 The Tiger.
