The 5th ranked LSU Tigers are nearly a touchdown favorite heading into a big SEC showdown with 22nd ranked Mississippi State.

The Bulldogs are allowing less than 13 points a game and Coach Ed Orgeron is impressed with the talent State has along its defensive line. There are NFL prospects on that defensive line, including Montez Sweat and Jeffery Simmons, who both project as first round picks in next year's NFL Draft.

Sweat is getting after the quarterback this year, racking up 8 sacks so far. While Gerri Green is second on the team with 2.5 sacks.

But it's not just defense that the Bulldogs are doing well. Miss State leads the SEC in rushing, averaging 240 yards a game. Quarterback Nick Fitzgerald has 2,999 career rushing yards which is the most ever by an SEC QB (think about how crazy that is with names like Tim Tebow, Dak Prescott, and Matt Jones in that record book).
