With this week's story on NFL Quarterbacks and the info they share on their concussions, the long-term narrative on head injuries in football was brought back to the front burner.

But there was another story that came up this week, that was relativity ignored on this topic, because it didn't involve Tom Brady or Drew Brees, but it does carry as much weight.

Here's more from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"LSU Hall of Famer Leonard Marshall says he’ll donate his brain to research after he dies. Marshall, who is also a two-time Super Bowl champion with the Giants, says he’s struggling with short-term memory loss and erratic behavior. Marshall made the announcement at the annual Brain Trust conference, which is hosted by the Department of Veterans Affairs."
