LSU's gymnastics team has advanced to the NCAA's Super Six, along with similarly high-ranked squads from Oklahoma and Georgia.

The Lady Tigers took third overall in the qualifying match, but in a post-match interview Head Coach D-D Breaux admitted the team wasn't at the top of its game.

"The objective of the first round of this competition is to get into finals, and we did that," Breaux told The Advocate, adding: "But we advanced without having a sterling performance, what we did tonight I don't think was representative of our body of work. I think that our team competed without an intensity, without a sense of emergency."

Breaux said that the team will need to let that go when they meet again with Oklahoma, Florida and Alabama and "bring their A game."
