Big Cat Drill

The LSU Tigers had their fourth and final day of split-squad practices on yesterday and are practicing as a full squad, and in full pads, for the first time, today. Les Miles said the first four days or split-squad practices have been productive.

LSU coach Les Miles said following yesterday's practice, “We’ve practiced what would be four straight days, two teams each day; so basically eight practices, we are looking forward to what will be tomorrow’s first full-padded practice and really put the team together. Each day there’s been another guy that steps to the front and he will be able to help us in a specific talent he might have."

“Today’s practice was cut a little short for the afternoon guys wanting to get them fresh for the first day of pads. We are looking forward to it. We are pleased with what has gone on so far, but we still have a lot of work to do.”
