LSU Football Head Coach Ed Orgeron spoke at the LSU Football Caravan stop at the Touchdown Club of Houston this week, and Tiger fans in the Longhorn State are also asking about LSU’s quarterback situation.

Orgeron says the battle to be the starter is even right now between Myles Brennan, Justin McMillan and Lowell Narcisse. Each of the quarterbacks have had good showings through scrimmages and the Spring Game, but none of the three have done anything to separate themselves from the group.

If none of them make dramatic improvements over the early parts of the summer, Brennan could take the job by default, simply because he's the only one of the three with quality playing time on his resume.

But whichever quarterback wins the job this year could just be keeping the seat warm. Six-foot-six high school quarterback recruit Grant Gunnell was at the caravan event. He heard from Steve Ensminger about what the Tigers offense will look like in 2018.
