Despite forcing 22 Rhode Island Ram turnovers and scoring 24 points off of those turnovers, LSU still fell to 9-3 on the season after their 74-70 loss.

Jordan Mickey was 10-for-15 with 21 points for LSU. Andre Stringer had 13 points and seven assists, and Johnny O' Bryant III scored 11 on Saturday afternoon.

The Tigers were able to take advantage of Rhode Island turnovers, but the Rams out rebounded LSU 46-32.

E.C. Matthews led Rhode Island in scoring with 21 points, he was shooting 50% from the field.

With the win, Rhode Island improves their record to 9-6. The Tigers drop to 9-3.

LSU opens up SEC play on Tuesday, when they will host the Tennessee Volunteers.
