It took 23 years, and Dak Prescott for the Mississippi State bulldogs to get a win in Tiger Stadium. The former Haughton Buccanneer, led State to a 35-29 upset win over #8 LSU on Saturday in Baton Rouge.

The LSU defense gave up 570 yards of offense, the most ever under Les Miles. Prescott had 268 yards passing, 105 yards rushing and three touchdowns.

LSU got uneven play at quarterback from Anthony Jennings. Bossier City native Brandon Harris came in late in the ballgame and nearly pulled off the comeback. Harris threw two touchdown passes to cut the lead to 5 in the final two minutes.

With the loss, LSU has dropped to 17th in the AP Top 25 national rankings.

With the win, Mississippi State has vaulted to #14 in the AP Top 25 after being previously un-ranked.

LSU will face New Mexico State on Saturday at 6:30pm.
