The LSU Tigers lost a key SEC game Tuesday night, 68-62 to Texas A&M. The Aggies complete the two game season sweep of the Tigers and hurt LSU's chances at making the NCAA Tournament.

LSU took the lead into half-time 36-31.  LSU had an eight point lead until midway through the second half when Texas A&M went on a 12-0 run.

LSU (118-8, 7-6) is now in a tie for fifth place with Georgia in the SEC standings. Texas A&M (18-7, 9-4) is now sole possession of third place in the SEC.

Jarell Martin, who played only 24 minutes due to being in foul trouble for most of the game, led the Tigers with 13 points and added six rebounds. Keith Hornsby had 11 points, all in the first half.

Jordan Mickey only scored six points, had four rebounds and two blocks.  The two blocks gave Mickey 200 for his career at LSU.

The Tigers return to Baton Rouge on Saturday to face Florida, tip-off is at noon.
