Prized LSU Baseball recruit Brice Turang has signed with the Milwaukee Brewers.

The highly recruited shortstop from California was taken in the first round by the Brewers last month, and he reportedly receives a $3.4 Million signing bonus. It was always considered a long shot for Turang to end up on campus, and with guaranteed money that high, it's understandable why.

Turang was the 21st overall pick in the MLB Draft, and was the 10th high school player picked in the draft.

Only four first round picks from this year's MLB Draft did not sign deals by the deadline. Carter Stewart, who was picked at #8 overall, ran into a problem with his wrist during a physical. He was a Mississippi State recruit, but may not play for the Bulldogs in order to be eligible for the MLB Draft again next summer.

The other players who didn't sign were pick 25 Matt McLain (ULCA recruit), pick 30 JT Ginn (Mississippi State recruit), and pick 36 Gunnar Hoglund (Ole Miss recruit).
