In a move that wasn't completely shocking, the LHSAA has decided NOT to move forward with more restructuring. Here's more from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"At the LHSAA convention, principals rejected a proposal that would combine Class B and C with Class 1A. It was an attempt to cut down on the number of playoff brackets in sports that have a split postseason. Principals also did not vote for the “elite team” proposal which would force dominating teams to play up in class."

The LHSAA just made sweeping changes to their structures over the last two years, and most are asking for some time to let the most recent changes take hold, before starting to mess with the structure they just built.
