In the newest issue of Sports Illustrated, the cover story is an expose of alleged corruption in the Oklahoma State Football program between the years 2001-2007. Les Miles was the head coach of the Cowboys from 2001 to 2004.

The story details a year long investigation by SI journalists and alleges that coaches and boosters paid certain players for good performances on the field, and that some players were given better grades to maintain eligibility. Claims are also made in the article that the school's policy for drug use was inconsistently applied.

The first installment of the five part series of articles is titled “Dirty Game" and hit newsstands today.

Les Miles commented on the allegations, saying quote, “We always did things right. Oklahoma state has never been a place where you need to cheat to have success.”
