Country super star and legend Glen Campbell drew a sell-out crowd at Diamondjacks Casino and Resort in Bossier City Saturday night. There wasn't a seat left in the house as fans were clamoring to hear Campbell croon and play the guitar on what is his "The Goodbye Tour."

Campbell has been touring with three of his children in his band since 2010. And they were as outstanding as their father.  Ashley was on keyboard, banjo and vocals.  During one song,  she played the banjo and keyboard at the same time.

Then there was  Shannon with the crazy punk rock hair and amazing voice and guitar playing.  In fact,  he played an instrumental part with his dad on "Galveston." '   Both father and son picking like nobody's business.

Then on the drums, was his son, Cal.   Glen was wonderful, with a smooth mature voice bringing out what a record can't do - his charm. His guitar picking was also as good as ever.

Campbell has been suffering from Alzheimer's since June of 2010, and there were a few moments when he forgot lyrics or notes, but daughter Ashely was right there to help him get it back.

What a delightful musical journey back to the past the show was.  If you missed it, you can catch Glen Campbell in another city.
