Connection:  Born in West Monroe, LA.  Moved to Shreveport upon retiring from the NFL in 1984.  Has worked for the Caddo Parrish School District as a child welfare supervisor.

Achievements:    1972 State Champion with Neville High School.  Played college football at Louisiana Tech earning All-Conference recognition.  Drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1978 as a return specialist.  Two time Superbowl Champion with Pittsburgh.  Set the Superbowl record for return yards with 162 in Superbowl XIV.  Held as many as four Superbowl return records at once.  Played for the Steelers, as well as the Baltimore and Indianapolis Colts.
