Regis Philbin,  star of  Live with  Regis and Kelly,  is retiring and taking his act on the road.   And he's making a stop in Bossier this Saturday night at the Horseshoe Casino.  KWKH has your chance to win tickets  to see Regis on the Morning Show with me each day this week.

Just be listening for my Quick Quiz between 6 and 10 am and be the first caller to answer it correctly and you win.  There are also a couple pair of tickets available to win in the KWKH VIP Country Club. Hurry though,  because the online contest ends Nov. 3rd.

Ironically, ABC has just today announced that the first person to fill Regis' chair on the new Live! With Kelly will be Jerry Seinfeld.  That's according to reports from USA TODAY.  Regis  exits Nov. 18th.

His name will be erased from the show.  And Kelly Ripa will start playing Bachelorette to all sorts of male stars who will be courting her.   Seinfeld,  a long-time friend of the show,  will join Ripa for three shows,  airing Nov. 21-23, 2011.

Among the guests stopping by to join Ripa and Seinfeld are actor Jason Segel, Kim Cattrall, Howie Mandel, Jamie Oliver and Miss Piggy.

"Jerry is a great friend of ours, and a friend of Kelly's, and it doesn't hurt that he's an entertainment icon," said executive producer Michael Gelman. "It's a great way to kick off the new beginning of our show."

It is indeed a big change for Joy and her 80-year-old husband, who holds the Guinness World Record for the most hours on television — 16,540 and a half!

Regis was emotional on the show when he announced his impending retirement back in January.  He has said he made the decision after talking it over with Joy and the two thought it would be a good idea, and give the star more time to travel and see the country.

On his commercial for Saturday's show at the Horseshoe,  Regis says he's never been to Bossier City, Louisiana or "the Great State of Texas," and that he's looking forward to meeting the ladies.   He's sure to please the women with his smooth singing voice and his comedic antics.
