Each day in December, until and including Christmas Day, I'll have a different Christmas Classic Song for you to enjoy!

The band's name is "Vince Vance and the Valliants". The vocalist is Lisa Layne, the original Vickie Valiantette and original singer of Vince Vance's "All I Want for Christmas Is You"

Country Radio gave this record its start in the early 90's, it has since crossed over to other formats and has become one of the biggest Christmas songs of all time.

I have to give credit to Vince Vance too.  He worked his butt off promoting the record, I know because he used to call every Holiday Season to do an interview.  He's very funny and entertaining and I really enjoyed talking with him on the air.

The girl singers, or Valiantettes, of Vince Vance & the Valiants, without exception, have always had names that begin with the letter “V.”  Currently they are introduced as The Vivacious, Voluptuous Vixens of Rock n’ Roll, the Valuable, yet Vulnerable, Valiantettes …Vixie, Violet and Velicity!  The first “t” is silent in the name Valiantette, so it is actually pronounced Val-yun-net.
