Kim Tolliver Makes History in Shreveport Fire Department

Shreveport Fire Chief Scott Wolverton is appointing Kim Tolliver as the new Chief of Fire Communications.

A swearing in ceremony will be held on Thursday, August 4th at 1pm for Chief Tolliver who has 17 years experience with the Department. Tolliver is the first African American Chief of Communications, the second female to hold the position of Chief of Fire Communications and only the third female division chief in the history of the Department.

Tolliver will manage daily operations of the Fire Communications Division. The public is invited to the ceremony to celebrate with Chief Tolliver and the entire Department.
