If you shower with Jerry don't drop the soap.

Jerry Sandusky, Former Penn State assistant football coach and founder of The Second Mile charity for children, is charged with indecent assault of a young child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, corruption of minors, unlawful contact with minors and endangering the welfare of children.

A former police officer at Penn State University told jurors today (Thursday, June 14) how he enlisted the mother of an alleged victim in a sting operation.

The mother was suspicious as to whether former football coach Jerry Sandusky had abused her son in a university shower room in a few years ago in1998.

Police Offier Ronald Scheffler and another officer hid out in the home of the alleged victim. They listened as the mother confronted Sandusky about why he showered with her son.

Scheffler heard Sandusky say "I wish I could ask for forgiveness. I know I won't get it from you. I wish I were dead."

Today marks day number 4 of the trial. There has been much emotional testimony all week from prosecution witnesses. Most of them have given graphic testimony about 68-year-old Sandusky's alleged sexual abuse.

He faces the possibility of life in prison if convicted on all or even just some of the 52 counts he has against him.

The alleged victim is 25 now. He told jurors that he still continued to see Sandusky for years after the shower incident.
