“It’s A Wonderful Life” Local Musical

A local performance of  a classic Christmas movie is being put to music and is sure to be a big hit. 'It's A Wonderful Life - the Musical' is going on this weekend.

The performance is based on the classic Jimmy Stewart black and white film.  Remember the famous quote, "Every time a bell rings an angel gets it's wings?"

It's showing  this  Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 and this Sunday afternoon at  3 at  The Emmett Hook Center.  It's located in downtown Shreveport at the corner of Common and Milam Streets  in the same block as First United Methodist Church.

Tickets are  $12  for children,  $18 seniors and military,  and  $22 for adults.

Dr. John Goddard  plays the lead role of George Bailey.  Anna Maria Keele stars as  George's wife,  Mary.

The musical is directed by Ragen Cassanova.  David McCart, who is radio personality Stifler on our sister station, K 94-5  also stars in this musical.

He says you're sure to enjoy it because the director,  actors and production assistants,  are some "amazingly talented people."
