Is 1130 the Tiger Carrying the Auburn Spring Football Game? April Fools!

Uhhh... NO! April Fools!

On Tuesday, April 1st, our very own Tim Fletcher went on the air and told listeners to tune in for the Auburn Spring Football Game this Saturday rather than the LSU Spring Game. Our Sports Babe, Jessica Rowe, then propagated the tomfoolery in the afternoon Tiger News Updates.

The truth is that 1130 the Tiger WILL air the LSU Spring Game this Saturday, April 5th, at 1pm.

At least one listener fell for our April Fools joke and wrote in to express his displeasure.

Are you kidding me ? I think it's a joke you post Home Of LSU Sports, then schedule AUBURN'S spring game for broadcast Saturday , when our own Brandon Harris is debuting as quarterback for the "Fighting" Tigers. Broadcasting AUBURN, with Paul Feinbaum as the announcer!! Home of LSU sports !! Unbelievable !! -Greg

UPDATE: Our April Fools joke made it all the way down to Baton Rouge. Today, the LSU Sports Radio Network called KWKH to ask if we were airing the Auburn Spring Game. They suspected it was an April Fools joke, but wanted to confirm.
