We came into the final day of the NFL Draft in full Dak Prescott Watch mode. We knew he was going to be taken off the board at some point today, it was just a matter of when.

That when came at pick #135.

The Dallas Cowboys did what many thought they would, they picked up the former Haughton Buc, granted it was MUCH later than many expected. There were some mock drafts suggesting that Dallas would jump back into the end of the First Round to make it happen, though most thought they would just wait until their Second Round pick.

What ended up happening, was that the Cowboys were allowed to lay back, use those picks however they pleased, and were able to allow Prescott to come to them in the Fourth Round.

Prescott actually finds himself in a great situation, getting into the fold for one of the biggest franchises in the league, and having a chance to develop behind starter Tony Romo, and with QB-genius Jason Garrett, could be huge for someone like Prescott.
