Arkansas (6-3,2-3 SEC) has beaten the Tigers two years in a row and are looking really soild on both sides of the ball, last week Arkansas beat then ranked eleven Flordia Gators 31-10, and are looking to go to 7-3 on the year. This game has a huge hold on if Interm Head Coach Ed Orgeron will have the label Interm removed. This game has a few Shreveport/Bossier City natives playing for Arkansas with WR #1 Jared Cornelius and DB #9 Santos Ramirez both coming out of Evangel Chrisitian Academy.

LSU running backs lead the way with Guice and Fournette combine for 350 yards rushing and 5 touchdowns. Danny Etling did a great job managing the game with LSU controling the time of possesion 35:11 to 24:29 and throwing the ball 10-16 115 yards and completing passes on crucial second and third down plays. Coach Orgeron called Fournette's number twice on long yardage situations and Fournette did not let him down. After a the Tigers get 2 straight penalties and have a 2nd and 18, Fournette bulldozes his way for 16 yards to eventully get the first down on the next play.

The Tigers defense looked just as good as they did last week in the lost to Alabama. Coach O gives all the credit to the defenses success to DC Dave Aranda all year long and had lots to say about the defense tonight "We're a talented defense,a very well coached defense, we decided we were going to play every play and contest every ball. Take it one play at a time and fight. We did." Orgeron said. Ed Orgeron started his carrer at Arkansas " It is good. It's changed. I have a lot of respect. I strted my first Divison 1 job here. I have alot of respect for the people here and what they did for me."

The Tigers Misison was to get the Golden Boot back to Baton Rouge. When Duke RIley was asked about what it meant to get the Boot back to Louisiana he replied " It feels good. Thats where it belongs. I mean we need to keep going because we have two games left."

Did Coach Orgeron just earn himself the head coaching job at LSU? Well, This was his first road game as the interm head coach and he showed he can get a team ready to go into a hostile environment. "He brings fire in us man, we just love it, thats what youo need from a coach. He makes sure we are matching the intensity from the day before." Duke Riley answered about what makes Coach O thier choice for the head coaching job. LSU has Florida next week in Baton Rouge. This game is full of anticipation becuase of the scheduling conflicts after Hurricane Matthew in Florida.
