Greenwood Police Cracking Down On Seatbelt Use

You've heard the slogan "Click It Or Ticket." The Greenwood Police Department is taking it very seriously and will be out in earnest searching for seatbelt violators. Properly worn seatbelts and child restraints are proven to save lives in an accidents, so it's common sense to wear one.

The Greenwood Police Department will be conducting a “Buckle Up In Your Truck” Seatbelt Grant funded by the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission. Officers will be working from April 22 – April 28, 2016, checking for violations of the occupant protection laws. Be safe and WEAR YOUR SEATBELT!!!!!
