George Jones Has to Postpone Two Shows

Country Music Legend George Jones has just announced that he has to postpone two shows scheduled for April 20 and 21.

According to his website, doctors told the Possum that he should stay at home for one more week to fully recover from an upper respiratory infection that has been going on for a few weeks now.

“I never want to cancel a show, but I have to do what the doctors tell me. I thank all the fans from the bottom of my heart for their prayers and I look forward to seeing them on the road soon.”

A few weeks ago, Mr. Jones stayed overnight in the hospital for observations and recently spent six days under the doc's watchful eye.

I'm hoping and praying that George Jones will be back up and at 'em in another week.
