Garth Brooks Recognized for Songwriting
Garth Brooks is being honored for his songwriting. He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame last night in New York City.
Garth was recognized along with other inductees: John Bettis, who wrote Michael Jackson's "Human Nature;" Leon Russell for "Delta Lady" and "Supestar;" Allen Toussaint who wrote Glen Campbell's "Southern Night;" Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly who wrote Madonnas "Like A Virgin;" Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors," and The Pretenders "I'll Stand By You."
Garth Brooks has songwriter credits on "If Tomorrow Never Comes," "The Thunder Rolls," "Unanswered Prayers" and others.
