This battle of the unbeaten did not disappoint with the Benton offense which the Tigers average more than forty points a game and the Tide defense which is giving up an average of eleven points a game. Benton has only given up 20 points all year but both these offenses were ready to put up some points. Minden defeated Benton 42-28 in a game that was closer than the score shows.

Minden Crimson Tide offense seemed like it was too much for the Benton defense lead behind quarterback Antonio Rivette who had 3 total touchdowns. When asked about how how it was to play this well against a very good Benton team Rivette responded with "It feels great to come out and play to our full potential" The Tides running back Patrick Heard showed how electrifying he could be with two huge touchdowns, one for thirty-four yards and another for sixty-eight yards, to get the momentum back on Mindens side.

Benton Tigers quarterback Garrett Hable had a usual game for him with three total touchdowns and spreading the ball around the field. He kept the Tigers in the game by leading multiple drives of fifty yards or more. Benton wide out Doyle Adams had two receiving touchdowns as well. When it came down to the wire late in the fourth quarter, Benton quarterback Hable had the ball slip out of his hand on a intended flare pass to the tailback to make it fourth down. Which lead to sealing the win for the Crimson Tide to keep their undefeated season alive.
