Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal has ordered flags to fly at half-staff until sunset Friday to honor Lt. Cdr. Jonas Kelsall and Chief Petty Officer Robert James Reeves.

The pair, graduates of Caddo Magnet High School in Shreveport, were among 22 Navy SEALS killed when enemy fire caused a Chinook helicopter to crash during a mission in Afghanistan Friday.

U.S. and state flags at the State Capitol in Baton Rouge and all public buildings and institutions will follow the governor's order.

The Reeves’ family is making plans for a memorial service in Shreveport this week.

Kelsall's family, who lives in California now, plans a memorial service in Shreveport in the next two weeks.

Caddo Magnet High School also will plan some kind of memorial or observance, Principal Mary Rounds said.
