New record at Grand Lake – Just seven days after the Classic, Billy Lemon hauls in what he thought was about a 9 or 10 but turned out to be a12.3.
New regulation change- Louisiana has decided to remove the 14” minimum on black bass in the Atchafalaya Basin, Henderson Lake, and lake Verret Complex. The creel limit has been reduced from 10 to 7 bass for a 2 year period.
New Bass Fishing Hall of Fame location announced – Cullman Alabama – It will occupy 30 acres and will include fishing ponds and an aquatic education center. Project will cost approx 17 million.
How many fish died at this years Classic? Zero…The average survival of post-released fish is 75% based off the last 20 years of reporting. B.A.S.S. rates ahave been around 95% or greater.
