Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation (SPAR) hosts its 15th Annual Ice Cream Social, on Friday, July 1, 2011 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Barnwell Garden Art & Center, 601 Clyde Fant Parkway.

The event is family oriented and free to the general public. The Matthew Davidson Band will perform live music.

There will be plenty of ice cream sundaes, dancing and lots of fun! Immediately following the Ice Cream Social watch the SPAR and Robinson Film Center Movies & Moonbeams presentation of "Grease", rated PG, on the big screen.

The public is encouraged to come dressed in their favorite 50's attire and join in the fun!

The movie starts at 8:30pm and will be shown behind the Barnwell Garden and Art Center. Bring your camera, folding chair and the whole family for a great time!
