England Hosts World Toe Wrestling Championship. Really!

His name is Alan Nash. His nickname is "Nasty", and for good reason. Nasty is the defending world champion in a sport where his reputation as merciless is unmatched. On the planet earth he has no peer...as a toe wrestler.

Last week the small English village of Fenney Bentley held the World Championships of Toe Wrestling, something that Nash and his fellow competitors take very seriously.

Nasty explains, "My plan is to hurt the first one in the ring with me, then terrify everyone else."

Two competitors square off in each bout, placing their feet on the floor in a small square "ring". They begin by locking their big toes together, then battling arm-wrestling style to take their opponent's foot to the ground.

And this year? Nasty knocked off Michael Grimmett to claim his 12th World Title.
