BESE members took a tour of a DeSoto Parish school this week to check out a new program. It's called the “Believe Prepare” program. It's a collorative effort between the DeSoto Parish School District and Northwestern State University.

The idea is to get college graduates to think about teaching. In about a year, you can go through the program and become a certified teacher. We talked with DeSoto Superintendent Dr. Cade Brumley about this innovative program and some other education issues too.
