UPDATE 12/17/14 14:50pm - Murray participated in individual drills at practice on Wednesday.  He took hand-offs from Tony Romo and carried the ball mainly in his right hand.  Jason Garrett says he would like to see more from Murray this week before deciding his playing status this weekend.

Cowboys DeMarco Murray underwent surgery on Monday to repair a broken bone in his left hand. Despite the procedure, the team has not ruled out the running back for Sunday’s matchup with the Indianapolis Colts.

Head coach Jason Garrett said Murray is a determined and confident individual, but the biggest question is if he will be functional enough to do his job on the field.

Sources told ESPN's Ed Werder that the Cowboys are confident Murray will be able to play against the Colts as they consider this injury to be easily tolerated.
