New Orleans' own Trombone Shorty recently rocked the stage with a very rare special appearance.

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl doesn't play Nirvana songs too often. As a matter of fact, multiple sources say the band's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014 was "the first time Grohl had done so since Kurt Cobain's death 20 years earlier."

Over the weekend, Grohl joined Trombone Shorty and his band Orleans Avenue for an amazing performance of Nirvana's "In Bloom" from the classic album Nevermind.

There really are no words to describe the "threauxdown" between these two musical geniuses so I'll just tell you to press play and enjoy the video above.
