Dale Earnhardt Jr. is Back in the Victory Lane [PHOTOS]

Sunday, June 17 was a great day for Dale Earnhardt Jr. He won his first race in 4 years and it just so happens it was at Michigan International Speedway, the same location as his last victory.

Lots of racing fans were wondering if Dale Jr. would ever win again? After Earnhardt's win yesterday the question on everyone's mind is, could this the year that dale earnhartd Jr. wins a championship?

Things are looking up for dale now and it appears that he has a pretty good shot at it. Holding 2nd place in the standings ain't bad, and being only four points behind Matt Kenseth ain't bad either.

Earndardt has 2 top 10 finishes in his last 15 races, six of those were in the top 5 and the big win in Michigan yesterday. It looks like Dale was just going through a slump and now he has broken free. This win may be what he needed to get him into the championship for 2012.
