The Dallas Cowboys, with only three days left till they face the New York Giants in their Sunday night opener, are still trying to bolster a depleted offensive line. Tuesday night the Cowboys reached a one year deal with guard Brian Waters.

After weeks of on and off again negotiations, Dallas will reportedly pay the 36 year old up to $3 million for the season. Head Coach Jason Garrett would not say if Waters will play on Sunday. His conditioning is a concern.

Waters played 11 seasons with the Chiefs. He left Kansas City for New England in 2011 where he made the pro bowl and played in Superbowl XLVI.  Waters did not play last season.

Brian Waters brings some leadership and professionalism to the Cowboy locker room, he was given the Walter Payton Award in 2009 as the NFL's Man of the Year.
