After getting over that 8-8 hump, head coach Jason Garret has been awarded a new contract by the Dallas Cowboys. Reportedly, a five year deal worth $30 million dollars.

Garrett took over as head coach in Dallas in 2010 as the interim replacement.  After leading a 1-7 Cowboys team to a 5-3 finish, Garrett was named Head Coach.  After four and half seasons as head coach Garrett is 41-31 overall.

He lead the Cowboys to a 12-4 record in 2014, and NFC East Division title, one game short of the NFC Championship.
