The Tom Brady "deflategate" scandal won't die.

The Associated Press is reporting the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan has starting listening to arguments on whether or not the NFL's attempted ban of the Patriots quarterback should be reinstated.

The three judge panel heard from attorneys from the league as well as the players union.

So everyone is asking if the four game suspension for Brady could be re-instated. People who heard the opening day arguments think that could happen.

The AP report says

The judges gave a players' union lawyer a tough time, with one saying evidence of ball tampering was compelling, if not overwhelming. He noted that there was evidence Brady encouraged it and supported it.

No indication yet when a decision could come from the appeals court panel.
