After going 4-6 on their recent West Coast road trip, all you need now are the comforts of home! And, the Rangers proved that tonight.

Rangers pitcher Colby Lewis (5-5, 3.13 ERA) went the whole distance, as he limited the Arizona Diamondbacks to 4 hits, and 1 run.

The offense fully supported Lewis' efforts by giving him a six run cushion by the 6th inning.

Eight of the Rangers' nine run came home with two outs! As previously mention, everything got real in the 6th inning when David Murphy hit a two run jack, then Mitch Moreland, Craig Gentry, and Ian Kinsler all drove in runs, to make Lewis feel a little good about pitching on a warm night in Arlington.

As Texas added to their lead in the 7th inning, Josh Hamilton brought home Elvis Andrus, who tripled, in the 8th.

From then on Lewis was given enough confidence and strength to shut down the D-backs in the 9th inning to win his 5th game of the year!

They do it all again tomorrow in Arlington. Game time at 7:05.
