Say it's ain't so. There are reports out today that there may be a Christmas tree shortage this year.

The reason, the recession in 2008!! Yes, tree farmers felt the effects too and they didn't plant enough trees for 2017. Trees sold this year had to be planted in 2008 and the supply is down.

There's also reports out that suggest there aren't enough delivery trucks to get trees out. Many are still being used for hurricane recovery efforts in some parts of the country.

Therefore, if you're looking for a "live tree" this year, you can expect to pay 5% to 10% more for your tree.

Now that you know this, will you still go out and purchase a live tree or will you resort to the fake one this year? Let us know in the comment section below.
