Chad Jones to Get Try Out with Saints

LSU fans remember Chad Jones as a hard-hitting safety for the football team and a hard throwing pitcher for the baseball team. Jones is one of only two athletes ever to win a BCS title and baseball national championship. But Chad Jones NFL career came to a halt after... being drafted by the New York Giants when he was involved in a single car accident in New Orleans that severely injured his left leg.

Jones was waived by the Giants in May after failing a physical. Jones has been rehabbing his leg for years now hoping for a chance to play professional football and he’ll get his tryout.  WWL reports that Jones will be brought in for a try out with the Saints. Chad is a native of New Orleans. LSU and who dat fans will certainly be rooting for Chad’s comeback.
